Braciole di carne or meat involtini

Today I want to show you how to make one of my favorite dishes!

Braciole, or involtini just like my grandma used to make!
This is a recipe typical of Messina, which is located near the Northeast corner of Sicily. And that is where my mom and dad are from! 

Ingredients:

  • Breadcrumbs 8oz (200gr)
  • Parmesan cheese 2 spoons
  • Pine-nuts ( a spoon, finely minced, not mandatory)
  • Meat, a very lean cutlet of beef tenderized by a meat pounder 3/4 slices
  • Cheese (mozzarella, or cheddar) diced
  • Parsley
  • Sal
  • Olive oil

3. In a second plate pour 2 spoons of olive oil. Dip the squared meat in oil and the into the seasoned breadcrumb, add inside the diced cheese and roll the meat. (img 3)
